1. A written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.

Books are my life, as I'm sure you've all realised! I've been reading before I could read - little me used to enthusiastically point at pictures and babble nonsense - and then when I could read, I never stopped. Books are my escape. They take me to far off lands, transport me to the stars and into made up worlds. They give me people I love and hate, people that become my friends, part of me, as I turn the pages. I get scared, run into battle, fall in love with these people, because they aren't just words. They are real to me. I suppose books are the closest thing we get to magic.

P.S. I finished City of Heavenly Fire yesterday! It was so good - my heart! I think I would have finished it on Friday, but sadly I was away at a book festival, so I didn't have a lot of time to read! I will be posting a book talk thingy, just walking through the book. I will be posting a book haul as well, so that those of you who haven't read/are reading City of Heavenly Fire will have something to read :) I think I'll post the book haul tomorrow (Monday) and then the book talk on Tuesday.
